Overview

This skill scans nine developer and tech communities every morning to find people actively asking for what you sell and delivers the top 10 buying-intent leads to your Telegram with ready-to-send replies. It uses Gemini 2.5 Flash to generate niche keywords and to score intent, so you get high-quality, warm outreach opportunities without manual searching. Setup takes a couple minutes and runs automatically at your chosen cron time (default 8am).

How this skill works

You describe your offer in one or two sentences and the skill generates smart keywords tailored to your niche. It pre-filters posts from Reddit, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Stack Overflow, Quora, Hashnode, Dev.to, GitHub Discussions, and Lobsters, then sends the most relevant posts through Gemini for a 0–10 buying-intent score. Each morning the top 10 leads are pushed to your Telegram with the post snippet, link, intent score explanation, and a pre-drafted reply ready to paste.

When to use it

  • You want warm leads without manual searching across multiple communities.
  • You sell a niche B2B or developer-focused product and need timely discovery.
  • You prefer conversational outreach over cold email blasts.
  • You want automated daily lead digests delivered to Telegram.
  • You need fast validation of demand for a new feature or product.

Best practices

  • Write a clear 1–2 sentence offer description to focus keyword generation.
  • Review intent explanations before sending replies to tailor tone and details.
  • Adjust the cron schedule if your target audience is in a different timezone.
  • Monitor source health warnings in Telegram to troubleshoot missing sources.
  • Start with the 3-day trial to calibrate offer phrasing and lead volume.

Example use cases

  • A SaaS founder sells a CRM for freelance designers and gets daily leads asking for CRM recommendations.
  • A developer tools company finds GitHub Discussions and Stack Overflow threads comparing tools and responds with tailored help.
  • A consultant spots Quora and Indie Hackers posts describing pain points they solve and starts conversations.
  • A startup tests demand by scanning broad topics to see how many high-intent posts appear daily.

FAQ

Expect 3–10 warm leads on average; broader niches yield more while narrow niches yield fewer but higher-quality leads.

Can I change the scanning time?

Yes. The default is 8am but you can change the cron schedule in your OpenClaw configuration.

What happens if a source is down?

Lead Radar continues scanning other sources, appends a warning in your Telegram digest, and shows scan stats.

What data is sent externally?

Public posts are fetched from source APIs or proxies, your license key is validated, and post snippets plus your offer description are sent to Gemini for scoring; the daily digest is sent to Telegram.
